Pronunciation of the consonant 'q' is accompanied by a big amount of air. The back of the tongue goew upwards, the soft palate is lowered onto it. The activity of these two organs produce occlusion-plosion.
The letter written or typed in this way is called kani.
It is not traced out with one movement of the hand. It is written between the four lines: movement of the hand begins from the upper line, goes vertically down to the lower line drawing a semicircle with a slightly rounded tip from right to left between the lower and lower middle lines. The vertical line is joined by a slightly round-headed bow at the upper middle line.
